William McIntyre is a retired Scottish lawyer specialising in criminal defence during a thirty-year career which included several high-profile cases.That career was the inspiration for his character Robbie Monro and many of the clients and cases he tackles/supports. The Monro series is authentic, revealing of Scottish law, complex and witty. The Vinci relaunch of the series will hopefully bring some great books to a new audience.
